Who: Rolo and Suzaku
When: January 22nd
Where: Random Alleyway
What: Rolo, after being submitted to punishments for letting prisoners go, has escaped the Mendolia. He's not doing too well though.
Warnings: PG: for a beaten up Rolo?



[ It was hard to run with chest pains, but Rolo pressed onward. He didn't care if using his powers to escape killed him, he certainly wasn't going to die a prisoner...an experiment. Ever since he learned that there was a little bit more to life then just his job, Rolo was beginning to feel like maybe what he had been doing was wrong.

Granted, all that landed him was being locked in a cell for what seemed like forever. He could still feel the effects of the shots they gave him, but he kept running. When he finally got into an alleyway, he slumped against the wall, holding onto his side.

Rolo's face was bruised, only slightly patched up from the beating he received from Abele the night he let Suzaku go. It was then that the Mendolia leader decided to take his best assassin and turn him back into an Experiment. Sighing, Rolo tried to shake the memories from his mind, but found that he couldn't. Slouching further down and curling his knees closer to himself, he let out a shaky breath...At least if he died, he wouldn't be laying on a table....]

[ Rolo took in another shaky breath, looking a little expressionless for a moment. It's obvious in his eyes how much it hurts him to say it but... ] I don't have a home anymore, so I don't care what happens.

A part of Rolo obviously cared enough to try and survive. That wasn't to be overlooked]

her surgery went okay, but we found out hte cancer affected her lymph nodes so she has to have chemo

I guess. [ Squinting at the ceiling, it's like he's trying to stay awake for a little bit longer...after a long pause, he just quietly says it ]

...geez that's tough. hope it isn't too rough on her and doesn't take too much of that treatment

Figured you might be. Those injuries looked pretty bad, but you should heal just fine with enough rest.

me too. Apparently it's only a few lymphnodes, so I'm hoping she won't have to do a lot of it.

[ He gives up on trying to be rude, it's too exhausting for him. Falling back asleep, Rolo's breathing a little bit easier now. ]
