[Jr checks his watch as he waits outside the Foundation's gate, for what is most likely the umpteenth time. It's not as though he's been waiting all that long, but it's been a while since he and Yeshua really got to do much of anything. Between business trips and all hell breaking loose the other day, it's just been too busy.

At least now things've settled down. He's sore in a few places after his skirmish the other day, but nothing a good soldier can't handle. Now if only Yeshua'd get out here already.

...Not that he isn't ten minutes early himself, but come on]

[Yeshua arrives right on time, as usual, because he's never early and never late. He's not surprised that Jr is already there though, since he knows just how excited his long-time friend can be when there's something he really wants to do.]

[And Jr's really not surprised that Yeshua's arrival is right on the dot like that. Nevertheless he'll act like he was waiting for eons and his friend's the latest of the late]

What took you?

I don't know what you mean. I'm right on time.

[Though he does know fully well what Jr means. It's not like they've never done this kind of song and dance before.]

A likely story.

[No matter that Yeshua is entirely correct, he's just going to stuff his hands in his pockets and start walking. The usual]

Surprised this place settled down so fast.

[It takes little effort on Yeshua's part to catch up with Jr. He was still walking after all.]

It makes you wonder what really started this, huh? [Though he's not pleased at what happened. That's just horrible.]

I've got a guess or two. Course, it's all the same out here.

[But that's part of why guys like them can make a difference, hopefully]

Not quite. Sometimes it's different-- just like this one. I didn't see anything that could have been gained from this one and yet... It still happened.

It's the same people picking the fights. I don't care what they want.

[And, quite honestly, they never want anything that'd be good for anybody else if they got their hands on it]

... Of course. [Though Yeshua cares, he always does.]

Though I wonder if it could have been preventable. There's far too much death between the crime families' wars without others being pulled into it.

[Yeshua is made of caring and serenity. It worries this little guy sometimes...

Except he knows if anybody was real trouble Yeshua could smack them around easy if he had to]

I'd like to think there is. [He drifts off, before continuing wryly] Can't drag people onto Foundation grounds though.

I don't think the families would like it if you actually did drag people to our place.

[... Wouldn't put it past Jr. though, welp.]

Probably not, but they can sit on a screw and spin.

[Jr would, if only it wasn't such a huge problem]

Only thing is it won't do any good if people actually prefer running around killing each other for no good damn reason.
